DO NOT RUN THE ENGINE WHEN JACKING THE VEHICLE. THE WHEELS CONTACTING THE GROUND COULD CAUSE THE VEHICLE TO MOVE.
SUPPORT THE VEHICLE PRIOR TO PERFORMING ANY PROCEDURE REQUIRING THE VEHICLE TO BE JACKED OFF OF THE GROUND.
MAKE SURE THE JACK AND JACK STANDS ARE PROPERLY LOCATED TO PREVENT THE VEHICLE FROM FALLING.
WHEEL CHOCKS SHOULD BE USED TO PREVENT THE VEHICLE FROM ROLLING AND FALLING OFF THE JACK.
Jacking Points
WARNING: THE JACK PROVIDED WITH THE VEHICLE IS INTENDED TO BE USED ONLY IN AN EMERGENCY FOR CHANGING A DEFLATED TIRE. NEVER USE THE JACK FOR ANY OTHER PURPOSE.
Front
The front jacking point is located at the transmission support crossmember.
Rear
The rear jacking point is located at the rear floor cross member.
LIFTING
WARNING: CHECK FOR NECESSARY CLEARANCE BETWEEN THE UNDERBODY OF THE VEHICLE AND THE DRIVE-ON HOIST.
CAUTION : The hoist must only contact all four vehicle contact points. Position the hoist pads so that they are in contact with the pinch welds.
Lifting Points
Front
The front lifting points are on the sides of the vehicle at the pinch welds.
Rear
The rear lifting points are on the sides of the vehicle at the pinch welds.
